ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for properly fastening the panels of drywall to the wood or metal interior framework of a building; cutting the drywall to fit and the metal and wood studs to size; and finishing by applying drywall trims.
Professional work.
Framing of walls and ceilings.
Light gauge and structural steel studs.
Cutting the panels for doors, windows, electrical outlets, lighting, HVAC and plumbing fixtures.
Carrying and accurately installing drywall.
Attach drywall to the walls.
Cutting metal and wood studs to size.
Applying drywall trims.
Insulating wall and ceiling cavities.
Cuts and installs metal ceiling grid, with metal, wood, mineral fiber, or drywall ceiling panels
Clean up.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
2 years’ experience preferred but will train.
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
