Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for receiving milk from tanker, pasteurizing milk and filling the vats.
The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Level I Receiver
Onboard milk from tanker trucks for storage in silo, handling proper paperwork;
CIP tankers as necessary;
CIP silo as necessary;
Preform antibiotic testing for each batch of milk taken in;
Complete facility cleaning as scheduled;
Operate forklift as needed;
Drive Communication- Work with Cheesemake Supervisor, purchasing department, production leads, and packaging team.
Report supply inventory shortages, quality issues, and material needs;
Responsible for CIP and COP of silo, truck tanker, pumps, hoses and other equipment.
Level II Pasteurizer plus duties above
Facilitate pasteurizing and diverting milk to cheese vats for production;
Maintaining compliance with PMO & ODA;
Appendix N (Milk Receiving) Industry Supervisor and Industry Analyst.
Level III (Lead) plus duties above
Coordinates with maintenance;
End of day reporting;
SOP and KPI documentation.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position.
Days and hours vary depending on the shift and department.
Overtime and weekend work is required at times.
Vacation coverage as needed.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
Current Food Handlers Certificate (has up to 30 days to obtain);
For Pasteurizer - Valid Oregon Pasteurizer’s license within 6 months of starting (Company will pay and arrange for testing).
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience working in a food manufacturing environment;
Basic mathematics and calculating tools;
Capable of operating without direct supervision;
Capable of following instructions;
Forklift certified.
