We are seeking reliable and committed individuals to join our plywood department to help manufacture high-quality wood products.
Our entry-level positions include various job duties that enable new hires to better understand our product offerings and learn proper handling techniques associated with those products.
*Job Duties & Responsibilities:*
» Accurately identify, grade, remove, & neatly stack veneer based on size and quality as it travels down a conveyor (the majority of the veneer is automatically stacked)
» Keep up with production ensuring dryers are fed with veneer to maximum capacity, preventing and removing any plug-ups that may occur
» Perform utility clean up around work areas to maintain a safe environment
» Work collaboratively in a team environment
» Must be able to work any shift (day, swing, graveyard, or relief)
» Solid hand-eye coordination & attention to detail are critical
» Follow all safety protocols and procedures
» Must demonstrate the ability to consistently meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards
» Perform other necessary duties as assigned by the Supervisor
