Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, including Turf Trucks, Golf Carts, Mowers
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension systems
- Perform tire services, including mounting, balancing, and rotation
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a mechanic or completion of a vocational training program in automotive technology
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Skills:
- Forklift operation experience preferred
- Experience working in a dealership setting is a plus
- Knowledge of HVAC systems in vehicles is beneficial
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Proficiency in tire service, including installation, repair, and maintenance
- Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance is a plus
- Ability to assemble and disassemble tractor-trailers for repairs or maintenance purposes
- Experience with shocks and struts replacement
