Job Summary:
Perform all functions of Roto Mold Department ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
Roto Mold Operator:
Duties: Manipulate roto-molded plastic components and molds by using permanent mold processes.
Perform housekeeping of area is a primary function of this role.
Open Schedules:
Tuesday - Friday
10 hours
6:00am - 4:30pm
Monday - Friday
8 hours
6:00am - 2:30pm
Able to maintain a reliable and consistent attendance record, required
Able to multi-task and rotate to other positions and/or departments, as needed, required
Push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally, required
Must be able to twist, turn, extend, pivot, duck, crawl, climb, crouch, bend, stoop, carry, and walk briskly, required
Must be a team player and work well in a team environment, required
Must be able to maintain continual improvement, required
Work in a hot environment and stand for up to 8-10 hours a day, required
Mandatory OT as needed to meet production schedules and goals, required
High attention to detail, required
Good communication and interpersonal skills, required
Make routing decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance
Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards
Previous experience with overhead crane use is desired
Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
Work in an efficient and timely manner
Aptitude to take orders and execute the same efficiency
Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi task
