About the Job
We have an exciting career opportunity for a Peer Program Manager.
The Peer Program Manager will oversee all aspects of ColumbiaCare’s peer treatment services in various clinical departments: Outpatient, Intensive Case Management, Residential, Supportive Housing, and Veterans Services.
The Peer Program Manager position will implement peer-led self-help groups, research and gather curricula and resources, and train peer facilitators.
Provide clinical supervision to ColumbiaCare’s Peer Support Specialists that provide treatment services in various clinical programs.
Establish collaborative and educational relationships with all programs and provide ongoing training and consultation with a focus on peer delivered services.
The Peer Program Manager will directly supervise Residential Peer Support Specialist staff.
This position will require the ability to travel frequently and reports to the Clinical Director.
Dependent on the successful candidate this position can be based out of our Portland Service Center, Portland; Lane Service Center, Springfield; or our Administrative Offices, in Medford.
ColumbiaCare Services is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Full Time, Day) What You’ll Make $6,000 - $7,050 per month DOE/Credentials.
Additional 5% Language Differential offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).
What You’ll Need Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration.
Eligibility requires 1 out of 3 Criteria below: Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science: Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field; OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs in a supervised setting; OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education in addition to satisfactory supplemental behavioral health experience and training Be Certified as a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) or Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) through the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) plus ONE (1) year of direct work experience as a Peer Support Specialist ONE (1) year of supervisory experience is required MUST be willing and able to become a Peer Support Specialist Trainer within one year of hire If not already registered as a QMHA through the Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO), we will assist you in registering within 30 days of hire.
Driving is an essential function of this position.
Successful applicants MUST also have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and have the ability to pass a DHS criminal background check.
Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to frequently sit, talk, listen, and use hands and fingers.
It may require the ability to occasionally walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
