What you need to qualify Two years of general clerical experience, one year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents, OR; An associate degree, OR; Graduation from a private school of business with a certificate AND one year of general clerical experience.
Essential attributes We are looking for candidates with: Experience utilizing organization to track tasks and follow-up with people in a timely manner.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and ability to use Excel for tracking purposes.
Ability to simply and effectively explain procedures or directions.
Ability to effectively listen and observe while taking accurate meeting minutes.
Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook to coordinate and schedule meetings.
Ability to use computer systems to conduct research (this position will conduct research to locate family members).
An understanding of how to effectively engage with families and community partners via email, phone, and in person.

As a Leveraging Intensive Family Engagement coordinator (Office Specialist 2), you will: Assist caseworkers and other staff members in the accomplishments of their daily tasks.
Provide administrative background support for daily agency activities.
Be responsible for conducting enhanced Family Find efforts, documents and stores notes from LIFE (Leveraging Intensive Family Engagement) and Family Engagement meetings.
Assist clients, provide technical support, and provide program information to the public.
Working conditions Your work will be conducted in an office setting.
You may need to occasionally adjust your work hours to meet service needs.
Occasional paid overtime may be required.
You may interact with a wide range of people including some who have experienced trauma and exhibit challenges in controlling emotions.
