Rogue Community College welcomes applications for a part-time Instructional Systems Specialist.

Manages user data and user accounts in a variety of college systems with elevated admin privileges.
Researches, integrates, tests, and implements third-party LMS applications.
Assists and provides support for faculty in design, development, and delivery of various media elements for web-based courses.

Starting compensation ins entry level for Group 7 on the 2023-24 Classified Salary Schedule.
Requirements Minimum Qualifications •Education – A Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Communications, Instructional Technology or a related field is required.
•Experience – A minimum of two years experience in web-based course development and delivery is required.
Only degrees received from an accredited institution will be accepted: accreditation must be recognized by the office of degree authorization, US Department of Education, as required by ORS 348.

Final candidate will be required to provide official transcripts for required degree.
Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience which ensures the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute for the requirement(s).
Preferred Qualifications •A Master’s Degree is preferred.
Certification in administrating current LMS management is preferred.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (Core Competencies) •Knowledge – Instructional design (broad theoretical and conceptual knowledge); multimedia software products used in creating and supporting distributed educational materials; online learning management systems; media production and instructional computing; web design; course development; user and course data management; and Microsoft Office Suite products.
•Skills – Instructional design skills; verbal and written communication; planning and organizing; training.
•Abilities – Work cooperatively with a variety of college staff including faculty and other technical support personnel; work with faculty in online environments; plan and organize course development; work tactfully with faculty throughout complex processes.
Other Requirements •LMS certification required within six months of being hired.
•For assignments requiring operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a valid Oregon Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within 30-days of employment, and maintenance of an acceptable driving record are required.
