Dog Adoption Events Manager (Medford)

Make Money by Doing Good! Amazing Dogs Rescue hosts dog adoption events in California and Oregon.
We have partnered with PetSmart in Medford to hold events every two weeks on Sundays.
The entire process, including set-up and breakdown, typically takes around 5 hours, with preparations starting at 9 am.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Adoption Events Manager to join our team.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the organization of these adoption events and ensure that as many rescue dogs as possible find loving homes.
The selected candidate will receive on-the-job training during 4-6 events before assuming full responsibility for managing these events.
Main responsibilities: Organizing events in professional way Meeting adoption targets Meeting food donation targets Tasks: Recruit and train unpaid volunteers (6-10 per event, each 2 1/2 hrs) Recruit and train a paid volunteer for food donations (one per event) Set up and break down Promote event by posting in 'local' social media (Nextdoor, FB groups) and offline (flyers) communication Recruitment fosters Living in Medford area Requirements: Must LOVE dogs Leadership skills Excellent communication skills Familiar with social media Good physical shape Required time: - Event 5-6 hrs - Preparation during the week 2-3 hrs Compensation: Applicants who are pre-selected will be invited to attend the upcoming event on Sunday Jan 28th and will get paid $100.
From that pool a candidate will be selected as manager for future events.
Payment as events manager is from $250 (min guaranteed) up to $550 if targets are met.

This offer is contract based (1099).
