Duties will include but not limited to:
\*Operating a cash register
\*Giving all customers prompt and courteous service
\*Stocking coolers, shelves and all self serve areas
\*Maintaining cleanliness of store at all times
\*Adhering to all city, county and state laws and regulations
\*Performing tasks as assigned by Manager
Job Requirements include:
\*Be able to read, understand and write the English language at the eighth-grade level
\*Be able to perform arithmetic calculations at the eighth-grade level in order to make change, complete shift reports and account for numbers of a variety of products during vendor check-in
\*Have sufficient visual ability to check identification and perform any other task that requires visual efficiency
\*Be able to read and understand instructions for operating electronic cash registers and other equipment
\*Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, carrying cases of milk cartons, soft drinks, beer, and juice containers, etc at least once a shift
\*Be able to bend in order to stock shelves and coolers
\*Be able to speak and understand English, including the ability to hear the spoken word
\*Be able to clean the parking lot and grounds surrounding the convenience store
\*Be able to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 33 degrees up to 30 minutes at a time
