Ludwig Center Post Tom Mount Pressure Plate - $3 (Talent)

This is the pressure plate that goes into the tom mounting system (1610D) for the center mounting bass drum down tube.
Sometimes it is called Ludwig retainer shoe for vintage 1610 tom mounting system.
A fancy way to say that if you have a Ludwig drum set from the 1960s or 1970s with a bass drum that has a mounting bracket for the tom holder you might need this piece of metal.
These are silly expensive on EBAY and Reverb.
There are two styles: a 1” long pressure plate and a 2” long pressure plate.
If you have a classic bass drum mounting bracket (1610D style) for your toms that uses the 1” retaining piece then this is the piece that always goes missing and you can’t find anywhere for a fair price.
