EMG loaded pick guard - $280 (Grants Pass Medford)

Fully loaded fender Stratocaster Pick guard tortoiseshell Brown.
With EMG SA coil pick ups, volume and two tone knobs, all off white/cream color.
These are active pick ups.
If you have never used active pick ups the idea is that they are powered with a single 9 V battery that fits under the pic and each individual pick up has its own preamp.
What you get out of the deal is a noise free pick up, eliminating the 60 cycle hum of regular single coils.
I have multiple sets of EMG‘s and other guitars.
Where I would say they really thrive is in live settings where you are worried about electrical interference making your guitar and amp extremely noisy.
These things are noise free, dead quiet even with tons of gain and effects.
In my experience, this is where they excel the most as I feel like they take time based effects (think delay, reverb) gain and fuzz petals extremely well.
It’s great to have an active pick up guitar in your arsenal, but your mileage may vary.
If you are willing to come all the way out to Hugo, you are more than welcome to plug them into one of my amps with my pedals to try them out.
Comes with 9 V battery, installation as simple as there is no need to ground any wires.
Just unscrew and remove your old pic guard and screw in this new one.
There is no need to solder as all the components are plug-in.
This also makes it real easy to change other pick ups.
