Vintage Roland RE-201 Space Echo - Excellent Condition - $1,899 (Central Point / Grants Pass)

Extremely clean Space Echo for sale.
Roland's RE-201 is THE classic tape delay with spring reverb.
Made in the 70's, it's still revered by musicians and recording engineers today with its unparalleled, warm analog tone.
It's also one of the few vintage tape delays that can easily be repaired and maintained due to the availability of reproduction parts.
This particular example is in amazing condition both functionally and aesthetically.
Below is the description of the item provided by the seller I purchased it from a few years ago: “This RE-201 is in mint condition.
The unit was bought new for a home studio and sat unused on a shelf until 6 months ago when I bought it.
I purchased an Ultimate Service Kit from Echoparts.
com and had it professionally serviced.
All electrolytic capacitors were replaced (standard maintenance as they degrade with age) along with 3 of the input jacks that showed corrosion.
The pinch roller was also replaced just to be safe, but the original looks just fine and is included with the other unused parts from the service kit (roller bearings, etc.
).
It comes with the original replacement tape from Roland as well as the original manual.
The only sign of wear is a very tiny dimple on the front face.
” Since I obtained this unit, it has seen very minimal use inside my home.
The sale includes everything seen in the last picture - all the extra maintenance parts from the service kit including extra tapes, the original manual, and a foot switch.
