Seeking Licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to complete disability exams with veterans (1099 position)
*Required* *Qualifications:*
* Master’s Degree from an accredited school and active certification from ANCC, AANP or NCCPA
* An active and unrestricted license in good standing in the state in which exams are performed.
* *An agreement for a collaborating or supervising physician is mandatory (if required by your state)*
* Two years of work experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
* Previous experience working with veterans and disability claims is required
* Must be comfortable with ALL of the following: METS testing, muscle strength testing, range of motion testing with a goniometer, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory conditions, evaluating and diagnosing cardiovascular conditions, evaluating and diagnosing neurological conditions
*Your Daily Responsibilities:*
* Complete disability exams with Veterans
* Conduct a thorough review of medical records and physical assessment with veteran depending on the current disability claim
* Exams are often musculoskeletal in nature, however, may involve any body system, such as limited cardiopulmonary or neurologic exams.
Experience in ortho / primary care is preferred.
* Complete a templated report online in a timely manner
