Klamath Orthopedic Clinic has an opening for an experienced Medical Biller.
The work hours are Monday through Friday.

Summary: The medical biller and coder will use codes to document patient diagnoses and treatments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Reading and analyzing patient records Determining the correct codes for patient records Using codes to bill insurance providers Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise Communicate with insurance companies about coding errors and disputes Managing detailed, specifically-coded information Maintaining patient confidentiality and information security Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals with questions about treatments or diagnostic tests given to patients to ensure accuracy Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Develops alternative solutions.

Candidate must pass Urine Analysis and criminal background check.
Education/Experience: Excellent typing and 10-Key speed and accuracy Superior mathematical skills Commitment to high level of customer service Familiarity with ICD-10 codes and procedures Working knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy preferred
