```Job Summary```
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician and Caregiver to join our team.
As a Medication Technician, you will provide direct support and patient care in a memory care facility.
Your responsibilities will include medication administration, behavior management, and ensuring the rights and well-being of our residents.
The role requires strong caregiving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
Caregivers will provide ADL's and serve meals.
We are a small specialty Memory Care Community consisting of 16 residents.
```Responsibilities```
- Provide direct support and patient care to residents in Memory Care
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions if Med Tech
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and supportive environment
- Ensure the rights and dignity of residents are respected at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
```Skills```
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Direct support experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and procedures
- Familiarity with assisted living regulations and resident rights
- Ability to handle some lifting and assist residents with mobility as needed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
