LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Job Description- * Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse * Job Location: Klamath Falls, OR * Facility: Marquis Plum Ridge * Duration: 13 weeks of contract (extendable) * Shift: 12 hrs.
/day & 36 hrs.
/ week (Nights) * Pay rate: $39/hourly *Requirements:* High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
BLS certification.
State License as LPN 1 yrs.
of experience *Responsibilities:* * Provides comment on the medical aspect of cases; conducts medical reviews of medical bills.
* Interacts with claimants, attending physicians, pharmacists, and other medical personnel.
* Reviews prior authorizations of Workers' Compensation Medical Treatment Guidelines confirmations and variances, prior authorizations of medications and durable medical equipment.
* Authorizes supplies and equipment.
* Interprets medical data for claims staff and Insurance Fund Hearing Representatives.
* Assists in compiling data and preparing cases for the hearing.
* Interprets medical diagnoses and documentation and conducts a review of the case file adherence to accepted guidelines.
Job Type: Contract Salary: $39.
