Patient Service Representative

Looking for someone with 2 years of previous on-the-job medical office experience and skills to work full-time in a medical office.
The patient service representative (PSR) greets patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general Access call center duties.
EPIC is a plus, but not required.
Duties: Checking in/out patients Greet patients Collect co-pays Handle multiple tasks at a fast pace Verify patient insurance and information into the computer Scan medical cards and information into EMR Some insurance verifications Phones Confirming appointments Taking detailed messages Routing calls to different departments Other clerical duties as needed.
Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen and current reference checks.
Must be at least 18 to apply.
