The Loss Prevention Team also assists the Risk Management Manager to prevent and minimize accidents and liability issues at these sites.

This is an entry level position.
Training can be provided for the right candidate.
To be sucessful in this role you must have great communication skills, exceptional conflict resolutions skills, and the proven ability to deescalate certian situations.
Experience in Retail, Security, or Law Enforcement is helpful.
Must have proven longevity with previous employers, and work well in team environments.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Patrol sales floor.
Detect, observe, apprehend, and process shoplifters in accordance with applicable state laws and security policies/procedures.
Ability to make and remember observations to be included in formal written reports.
Follow suspected offender from the store and attempt to retrieve merchandise.
Secure stolen items, return offenders to location, and contact authorities.
Prepare and submit shoplift reports for pursuit through the Civil Demand Process.
Obtain written confessions, if possible.
Research arrest reports when adequate information has not been obtained.
Work with store personnel to reduce the risk of theft through awareness and close interaction including, but not limited to, Loss
High school diploma or GED.
Demonstrated understanding of loss prevention techniques, preferably in retail environment.
One year's relevant work experience.
