Job Summary:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) Lodging is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing the lodging operations at Crater Lake National Park.
The AGM Lodging will oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodging facilities, including guest services, housekeeping, maintenance, and some food and beverage services.
The AGM Lodging will also assist in managing the budget, hiring and training staff, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
This is a seasonal position working Mid April through early to mid October.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the General Manager in managing the lodging operations at Crater Lake National Park
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodging facilities, including guest service and housekeeping.
Assist in managing the budget and ensuring financial goals are met
Hire, train, and supervise staff
Provide excellent customer service to guests and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional strategies to increase occupancy and revenue
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel or lodging management
Strong leadership, management, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of hotel and lodging industry trends and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
