Requirements:
Has knowledge of all aspects of landscape grading, planting, irrigation, drainage, lighting, hardscapes, synthetic turf etc.
Superb customer service skills, keeps positive relationship with sub-contractors and crew
Awareness of the proper care, use, and maintenance of tools of the trade
Identify and mediate problems that arise with the crew and with projects
Ability to teach operation and maintenance of all equipment and trucks
Valid OR Driver's license, CDL or other certifications
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must be able to work independently or with others with little direction from Construction Manager
Leads all work activities of crew
Must know how to improvise
Role:
Give thorough directions to crew members
Daily oversight and management of crews, equipment, sub-contractors, etc.
Daily paperwork for supervisor detailing the outcomes from each job
Oversee crew scheduling, time sheets and managing material sheets
Qualifications for higher pay rates:
Previous successful experience in landscape/irrigation construction.
(5 years minimum)
Equipment operation experience; Project Management experience; Horticultural knowledge, including plant identification.
Efficient and organized work habits.
