Line cook/Lead Line Cook

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards - Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a timely manner - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation - Maintain knowledge of current menu items.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding food preparation, sanitation, and safety Skills: - Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology - Proficient knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff - 3 years experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering setting - Familiarity with menu planning and the ability to contribute creative ideas for new dishes - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices at our restaurant, we offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
