Role: Responsible for developing programs and executing strategies that assist members on their journey to financial well-being that result in deepened member engagement and participation.
Creates a passion for the credit unions agreed-upon vision, mission, and values, products, and services.
Partners with credit union team members and peers as a trusted adviser, respected colleague, and catalyst for organizational success.
Positively supports our community and credit union movement through dedication of time and talent.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 25% Designs, implements, and oversees member engagement strategies and programs that enhance the overall member experience and drive loyalty, resulting in increased participation and member financial well-being.
Manages the member engagement strategy, providing purpose, motivation, and training to frontline team members, cultivating a positive and successful member engagement (sales) culture.
20% Collaborates with cross-functional teams to formulate, execute, and inspect comprehensive member engagement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to enhance the integration of member engagement initiatives across the organization.
15% Leads key projects that assist the Member Service area in achieving organizational goals and objectives.
15% Utilize data to analyze and assess the effectiveness of member engagement initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
This includes designing and implementing regular reporting that provides insights into member engagement metrics and trends.
10% Analyzes member feedback, market trends, and industry best practices to inform the development of effective engagement initiatives.
10% Translate strategies into actionable plans for frontline teams, monitor team performance and develop action plans to ensure teams are successful in meeting member engagement goals and objectives.
5% Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.
Knowledge and Skills: Experience: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.
g.
, information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal Skills: Work frequently involves exercising advanced conflict resolution, giving material presentations, and resolving issues impacting multiple departments or divisions.
Role also requires the ability to motivate or influence others as a material part of the role, with a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the role and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position.

Physical Requirements: Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking.

Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
Work Environment: This job is an exempt position that requires flexibility in scheduling tasks and projects.
The employee must independently monitor hours and judge the time needed to be spent on applicable duties.
Employee must be capable of adjusting to unpredictable schedules proactively.
As a direct representative of the Credit Union, the employee must conduct and present themselves courteously and professionally.
