Benefits to you We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full-time employees, including mental health coverage.
The hourly equivalent for this position is $23.

Position Highlights We are hiring a Judicial Support Clerk (Court Operations Associate) to join us at the Josephine County Circuit Court in Grants Pass, Oregon.
Much of your day is spent managing court cases, entering data for cases, and providing customer service.
Your work will include receiving forms from parties to cases and attorneys, examining paperwork for accuracy, entering case data in OJD's electronic case management system, and coordinating case-related information with agencies, staff, and the public.
You will ready the courtroom by preparing judgments, observing activity during court sessions, entering data, using recording equipment to log events in real-time, announcing names of jurors during selection, swearing in witnesses, marking and maintaining exhibits; and you will be responsible for securing the courtroom at the end of each court session.
Lastly, you will act as backup to the Judicial Assistant.
Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.

Working Conditions This is a full-time position, and the work schedule is typically 8:00 a.

to 5:00 p.

, Monday through Friday.
It is eligible for overtime compensation for hours worked in excess of 40 per work week.
Occasional before or after-hours work may be required.
Regular trips to Family Court and Josephine County Jail to assist with court proceedings.
Daily contact with the public regarding court processes, including working with parties involved in civil, family, and criminal court cases.
Frequent email, phone, and in-person contact with people facing challenging circumstance who may be frustrated people or experiencing trauma.
Frequent email, phone, and in-person contact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Daily work with confidential documents and information.
Long periods of sitting are required while performing daily data entry input.
Lifting up to 25 pounds of office material or equipment may be required.
Regular use of the following equipment: multi-media, phone, OJD-assigned computer with multiple monitors, copy machine, fax machine, and scanner.
