Calling all addicts in recovery! Help prevent youth addiction! (Medford)

I am trying to gauge the interest in forming a local organization called "BYe Addicts" which is composed of people in recovery from drug addiction, working together to create meaningful and actually impactful educational materials and give presentations to youth/teenagers/young adults in Southern Oregon.
I respectfully ask that if you do not have personal first hand experience with being addicted to drugs.
I don't mean to invalidate the experience of the friends and families of addicts.
I just think this is a desperate time with how many people are dying from overdoses not just in the country but locally call for desperate measures.
Like addicts sharing all the things drugs made them do that they are too ashamed to tell their families about being shared with kids.
I'm also not trying to invalidate current presentations but it just doesn't make sense to me when law enforcement gives a presentation and they talk about how dumb Criminals are and then immediately turn around and tell the kids they're so stupid a drug dealer can trick them.
You can't bullshit kids.
