We are "Double D Ranch Dexter Beef" and have multiple outstanding Purebred Dexter Bulls that have upcoming openings to cover your girls.
BULL #1 "Denver"
Denver is a black, horned 3 year old Dexter Bull .
Denver is incredibly stocky, compact, super thick and muscular.
He is fully mature and proven to throw equally nice and stocky calves.
Denver is a perfect gentleman and just a pretty cool bull to be around and marvel at.
BULL #2 "Ryan"
Ryan is a black polled 2 year old Dexter bull.
He is a bit longer and a tad taller than Denver but of perfect Dexter confirmation with an equally wonderful demeanor and temperament.
Ryan is not quite fully mature, is still growing and will fill out incredibly well.
He will be an awesome Dexter specimen to have become a part of your genetics.
Ryan is proven, entering his second breeding season and has thrown outstanding calves.
Ryan also comes out of our very best Dexter cow and it shows.
Bull #3 "Cedric"
Cedric is a Dun color, polled, younger Dexter Bull just starting his first breeding season.
He is far from fully mature, so the smallest of our 3 bulls.
Still growing but will most definitely get the job done.
If it's beautiful Dun coloring, classic smaller stature Dexter attributes and awesome temperament your after, Cedric is your bull!
Cedric is 17 mo old and will be perfect for first time heifers or smaller stature Dexters during his first year.
We don't recommend him with taller and larger Dexters yet.
He comes out of our calmest sweetest cow and Cedric is also our calmest and sweetest temperament bull.
Loves back scratches!
All Bulls have very pleasant temperaments, easy to be around are PHA and Chondro free.
All are 100% grass fed.
Our Bulls come out of exceptional lines that do particularly well for grass fed beef genetics.
Exceptional grass fed Dexter beef is our jam!
We only choose bulls that will be the very best breeders for our herd and as luck will have it can provide services for your's too!
Fees are $200 (min) to cover up to 3 cows or heifers then $50 for each additional + transportation costs.
We only keep our bulls in the Rogue and Applegate Valley areas of Southern Oregon (Medford, Ashland, Phoenix, Talent, Eagle Point, White City, Jacksonville, Ruch, Applegate, Williams, Murphy, Grants Pass, Gold Hill, Merlin, etc).
What is required of you:
- A safe and secure loading and unloading area.
- Secure fencing that will keep bulls in, safe and secure.
- Quality pasture forage and/or good quality hay, appropriate minerals, salt, water and proper care while the bull is entrusted to you.
