Here at Rogue, we believe in having a culture of happy team members who feel supported, have the chance to grow their careers, and LOVE where they work! Role: Serves as an application design and configuration specialist for vendor-purchased and Rogue Credit Union developed applications.
Works closely with credit union Departments to assess, plan, and implement new system features with process automation, system availability, and security a priority.
Acts as liaison with designated department business owners, super users, application vendors, trainers, and support staff regarding application upgrades, requests, and optimization.
Functions as a part of a team, often acts as a resource and mentor for other team members as well as across the other IS departments.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 35% Schedules and deploys applications to test environments and production.
Maintains tests and integrates application components.
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and documented.
Monitors systems for performance and availability.
Contributes to a collaborative team environment.
Ensures a high level of information security and data integrity.
Complies with all policies and procedures controlling access to Rogue's digital resources for both internal use and external 3rd party agencies based on regulatory requirements and best practices.
25% Researches and resolves production issues with internal applications.
Responds to and resolves helpdesk tickets.
Performs root cause analysis, identifies and implements corrective and preventive measures.
Assists users, troubleshoots problems, and makes configuration changes.
Provides an analytical view of the presented problems and offers solutions that can then be implemented.
20% Under general supervision, conducts planning, analysis, and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.
Assists in the triage, prioritization, dispositioning, execution, follow-up and management of support requests as assigned.
Provides guidance to other technical and non-technical professionals.
Acts as project lead on assigned projects.
Elicits information to discover the underlying business needs to be addressed and information related to the product and project requirements, often through conversations with stakeholders.
Analyzes requirements - organizes, specifies, and models the requirements to ensure they are complete and unambiguous.
Analyzes complex data to troubleshoot and drive design solutions.
Analyzes and assesses current processes and defines/documents recommended improvements.
Documents (or assist the requester) the requirements in a format that can be shared with stakeholders.
Validates and Verifies requirements to ensure the requirements map to the real business need, are approved by all relevant stakeholders, and meet essential quality standards.
10% Creates and maintains detailed documentation concerning the application portfolio design (feature function, hardware, data flows, integration points, Recovery Time Objective (RTO)/Recovery Point Objective (RPO) requirements, etc.

Organizes and prepares program and system documentation according to established procedures to facilitate ongoing support, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
Participates in the definition of corporate standards for software architectures and use cases.
5% Stays informed concerning vendor application roadmaps, new features, functions, and capabilities.
Proactively shares and proposes new ideas.
5% Proactively completes other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills: Experience: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
DNA experience desired, but not required.
Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.
g.
, information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Other Skills: Experience on failover, high availability, disaster recovery, business continuance, and change management.
Linux and Windows server experience including scripting for administrative tasks.
Knowledge of user security, including user role definition and templates, source systems for user identification and integration with network services is required.
Solid problem-solving, team, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization.
