The Clean-Up Crew in the Manufacturing areas performs general clean-up duties and support for a sanitary work environment.
This position on occasion will also be responsible for the safe operation of forklift trucks, used to move, locate, relocate, stack and materials and products.
Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them, dumping trash cans, working from ladders, washing belts, cleaning floor drains and adjacent areas.
This position requires following instructions and established processes and procedures.
This position requiresreading English and understanding warning labels on cleaning products.
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
Proper use sanitation tools, broom, dust mop, wet mop, dust pan and shovel.
Works in a safe and sanitary manner, and follows all regulatory requirements
Works in a timely and speed-oriented environment.
Certified to operate Forklift trucks
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
This position has the following requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
6+ months of previous forklift experience preferred.
PC skills or previous inventory scanning experience desired.
Physical requirements include climbing stairs, extensive use of hands/wrists, bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, grasping, walking, and standing for the full shift.
Lifting over 50lbs pounds.
Working in variable warehouse conditions range from very cold to hot and wet to extremely dry, dusty, working with cleaning chemicals and some elevations and tight spaces.
Flexibility as scheduled hours may vary to fit production requirements.
Working weekends and overtime may be required depending on production.
