2003 Land Rover Discovery 2 HSE 7
Solid example of Land Rover Discovery 2 with the rare HSE7 package.
142k Miles (mileage may increase)
Pros:
Seats 7, seats in great shape
ACE steering,
Air suspension ,
Air conditioning/heater/heated seats functional.
Recent fluids (front and rear axles, transfer case).
Rotella 15w40 oil changes.
Paint and interior in pretty decent shape for age.
Sun roof leak repaired and resealed.
Heated windshield (awesome in winter).
Rubber floor mats (new).
Tail lights are from a 2000, I have one good upper tail light but the others were cracked.
Recent parts (last 10k miles):
-Wheel bearings (complete hubs with ABS sensors, 3/4 replaced, have one yet to be put on),
- CV Axles (updated to beefier Ashcroft units),
- Ball joints,
- Terra Firma Heavy Duty Steering components (tie rod/panhard bar),
- Bilstein Steering stabilizer, T
hrottle plate heater delete,
- In Line 180 degree thermostat,
- Front drive shaft.
- Falken Wildpeak Tires (less than 5k miles) including spare!
- ARB Bumper
- Ultragauge (to monitor temps, see codes, monitor oil change intervals, etc)
Considerations:
When opening and closing front doors, they make a clicking noise, the latching mechanism may need some greasing.
Large dent under tail light (could potentially be pressed out), small dings here and there.
Some headliner sag on passenger side but nothing major.
Some of the AC/Heat control dash bulbs are out.
Rear windshield wiper is not installed yet.
Has an oil leak (think partially from valve cover gaskets, and partly from front crank seal).
Cracked windshield (doesn't effect visibility and heated windshield works fine).
Rear bumper replaced with one that doesn't have parking sensors, (still have parking sensor cable).
Rebuilt title because front passenger side hit and headlight/bumper damaged (no major frame damage, was minor plastic damage).
Front ARB Bumper auxiliary turn signals not wired up yet.
Additional Parts not yet installed:
Rear windshield wiper kit, complete upper gasket set (for intake gasket replacement), front crank seal, ignition coil relocation kit (relocates to box near battery, if you know you know!), rear drive shaft (non-rubber four bolt), rear wheel bearing (right rear, only one that wasn't bad so not urgent to replace), windshield liner (for replacement windshield in future).
New tensioner, belt, and pulleys.
ARB winch mount hardware.
Thanks
