1967 VW Bug - “Rare one year only model”

The good
- Completely rust free (at least from what I can find, other than some minor surface rust)
- Rebuilt motor with appx 400 miles.
(increased from a 1300 to a 1600 at time of rebuild)
- Numbers matching (at least I’m 99% sure)
- Motor rebuilt by the best in the NW, Strictly Foreign
- Deluxe model with factory sunroof and pop out rear windows
- Sunroof works great and doesn’t leak
- New battery
- Runs great
- Newer good tires
- Mostly very straight body
- Everything works except for the radio and wipers.
- Mostly all complete with original parts
- Disc breaks up front
- Shifts great thru all gears
- Clean title
The less good
- Needs interior (Seats, headliner and carpet)
- Has been resprayed at some point and the paint is pretty poor.
Some call it “patina”, some call it crappy paint.
It looks better in the pictures than it does in real life.
- Some dents in the body, most significant is the drivers front fender.
Salvageable for sure but is noticeable.
- The front right break has recently been not entirely releasing.
Trouble shooting now.
Overall a very solid bug you can tinker with and drive as is.
Drive as is or fix as you go.
All the hard stuff Is done.
It’s not perfect by any stretch.
But it’s a nearly complete 67’ with all the hard parts present, rust free, with the sunroof and pop outs make it a great foundation for its new owner.
May consider trades for a boat or other classic vehicle.
May add cash on my end for the right deal.
Particularly interested in an older FJs, land cruisers, Porsches etc.
No projects or junk.
Asking $6,250.
Cash talks, pretty firm on the price but open to reasonable offers, low ballers will be ignored.
Not in any rush to sell.
