2007 Subaru Outback new motor - $6,000

In just over the last three years this car has had a lot of work done.
We bought it from a mechanic who had just replaced the *Motor* Struts *Brakes and rotors* Oil filter Rear main seal Timing belt Cam seals Crank seal left and right Spark plugs Bolt seals Tube seals Valve cover gaskets Water pump and gasket Intake, manifold, gaskets *Head gaskets* Since then, it has been driven less than 30,000 miles and has gotten regular oil and fluid changes, a new *catalytic converter* A new (rehabbed) center console A new (rehabbed) windshield wiper motor A repair to the electrical which got the back windshield and license plate light working again.
That’s a part that starts to wear out around this time with the age of the vehicle.
Its cabin air filter was replaced with a hepa filter in July.
Also, in July it got new control arms with bushing installation and springs and in October it got new rack and pinion installed along with some other work.
All except for some oil changes are documented.
