In the past year & few months I've had this car it consistently gets great gas mileage (40-50 mpg)
However, due it sitting for recent months the hybrid battery has weakened, and a red "triangle of death" is appearing now.
Although it can still be driven, the mechanic suggested taking it out on the 5 to recharge the battery quickly, and getting a replacement soon.
Has a catalytic converter shield installed so it can't be stolen, and yes it has passed the DEQ
Extremely well maintained, recently inspected engine, no oil leakes or any issues.
Powered by a reliable 1.
5L 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission.
The body is in good condition and everything works on the car as it should.
Runs and drives excellent.
All power options in working order.
Has Power windows/locks, AM/FM/CD, cold AC / heat works great.
Fine tires all around, breaks are good.
Some cosmetic flaws on the car, but what can you expect its from 2006 ! It may not be perfect looking, but it will get from A to B (and back) every time, and save you at the pump !
If you want a reliable ride to save you at the pump this is it, plus with the back seats down it is very spacious
And if your concerned about the high miles on it, rest assured a well-maintained Prius will run to 400-500K miles (especially with the replacement battery)
Open to reasonable offers, considering the varying costs of the battery replacement, but no trades please
I have quotes from Greentec for the different options of hybrid battery costs
