We have an excellent opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Central Point, OR!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide accounting and analytical support in the reporting of financial transactions focusing mainly on the aggregate inventory process.
- Record inventory production, purchases, consumption and other financial transactions
- Assist in the preparation of physical inventory counts
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial related reports.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of applicable accounting requirements and financial statement requirements, disclosures and preparation methods.
- Assists in research, analysis and evaluation of existing and/or proposed accounting principles.
- Assist in establishing, maintaining and enhancing accounting controls and procedures.
- Provide assistance and analysis on special projects or other financial activities, as needed.
- Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
- Must maintain confidentiality to the highest degree
- Travel may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associates degree and/or equivalent work experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- High ethical and moral standards.
- Advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Excel, Office, Teams, & Share Point.
- Working knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Professional communication skills including written and verbal for internal and external customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accounting experience in a construction industry setting.
- Experience with JD Edwards and Oracle Business Intelligence software.
