Accountants.
Applicants must have a general understanding of accounting: A/P, A/R, Bank Reconciliations, and General Ledger.

Financial Accounting:
Analyze and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, reports, and financial records
Recommend and prepare adjustments, journal entries, reports, and fund transfers
Prepare schedules for various funds and accounts for the Annual Audit; reconcile accounts with audit outcomes
Prepare work papers and provide supporting schedules/documents
Maintain accurate financial records
Analyze transactions for correct coding and assignment of revenues and expenditures
Analyze and post additions, transfers, and dispositions of capital assets
Review accounts payable checks and documentation for proper backup and approval
Study, develop and standardize procedures and policies to improve efficiency and ensure sound financial practices
Perform related duties as to specific assignments
